The PIF 2019 awards a NEW award dedicated to a great electronic accordion player originally from the city of the accordion: “Gervasio Marcosignori Award”.
The “Poet of the accordion” , born in Castelfidardo, brought his art everywhere. The PIF will honor him with this special title, which wants to respect tradition and at the same time look forward. The regulation, truly original of its kind, will in fact include all currently existing models: VIRTUAL accordions (without voices and with digital system), MIDI (acoustic with applied electronics) and ELECTRICAL (acoustics connected with digital multi-effects microphones, looper, sequences etc).
On August 31, the official closing date for registrations remains, as well as the renewal of hospitality (overnight accommodation) for the first 100 candidates who request it. The contribution to participate (30 euros for soloists and 50 for ensembles) remains the same as in the last edition.
